Pacific Standard Time is an unprecedented collaboration of arts institutions across Southern California, each presenting thematically linked exhibitions and programs designed to celebrate the region's vibrant cultural history.

The next iteration is Pacific Standard Time 2024, which will explore the intersections of art and science in a global dimension.

Past Initiatives

Pacific Standard Time:
LA/LA

From September 2017 to January 28, 2018, more than 70 cultural institutions participated in this four-month-long exploration of the rich past and vital present of Latin American and Latino Art.

Pacific Standard Time Presents:
Modern Architecture in L.A.

This iteration of Pacific Standard Time celebrated Southern California's lasting impact on modern architecture with exhibitions and programs presented by 17 area cultural institutions from April through September 2013.

Pacific Standard Time:
Art in L.A. 1945-1980

From October 2011 to April 2012, more than 60 organizations presented exhibitions and programs that told the story of the rise of the L.A. art scene in a landmark regional collaboration.
